Would recommend this lovely cottage. Can see why people return many times. The extras i.e. milk, butter, coffee, tea, sugar and bottle of wine were much appreciated. It was like staying in a 4* hotel. Pub opposite served superb food at very reasonable price.

This cottage is a total delight. Beautifully renovated, excellently equipped, very comfortable and homely and the owners are lovely - so helpful, nothing too much trouble. An idyllic week with plenty to do and see with wonderful accommodation to come back to each day. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much Jan and Eric.

The position of the cottage makes you feel very safe. You have to cross a bridge over a dyke and on the other side is a three bar gate on a catch. The owners live next door and although you are not aware of them because of the position of the cottage front door it is comforting to know they are within easy access. The house looked well cared for on the outside and when we opened the front door it was obvious it was also well cared for on the inside. Everything we needed was to hand. A lot of thought had gone into the presentation of the house and the welfare of the visitors staying there. Reading through the visitors book we were not the first people to appreciate the standard the owners keep the property at.

The owner made a really nice touch of leaving freshly made bread, homemade marmalade, butter, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, wine and even biscuits for Bertie our dog - who could fault this!
